For many of you that aren't extremely good at cooking, and want to make something that tastes delicious but doesn't take too long to cook, then here are 5 simple meals that you can for yourself or for family members.
1. Lentil Soup
This is a good meal to have if you prefer to have a light lunch or dinner, rather than wasting your time preparing and cooking all day (especially on a Sunday) if you believe you'll have an upset tummy from it.
Lentils are packed with B vitamins, iron, magnesium, potassium and zinc, this help makes it a great source of plant-based protein and fiber. Did you know? Lentils are good for helping to lower blood pressure as well as keeping blood sugar levels steady. So next time your family wants lentil soup, you can give them a little surprise.

If you like eating Chinese cuisine, then you'll love this! This dish is super simple to make and only takes 25 minutes to prep and cook.
It also contains a variety of nutrients such as vitamin A, vitamin D, calcium, iron and potassium, sodium and much more.
3. Chicken Curry
Want to spice things up? This will certainly do well for a tasty meal. Chicken curry is very simple to make and takes less than a hour to make. Making this dish on a Friday after a long and hard work week helps to make it feel all that more rewarding.

4. Smoked haddock with potato salad
Now I'm sure if your from Scotland, you'll love your fish (especially on a Friday) then you'll love this! This dish is super simple and only takes about 25-30 mins to make. However, you are not a big fan of smoked haddock, then not to worry, because you use alternative types of fishes and it'll taste just as great. You can use alternatives such as cod, coley, hake, salmon etc.
5. Tuna Pasta
Tuna pasta is one of the most healthiest, if not the easiest meal to make. Best of all, it's ready in just 30 minutes. This dish is nice and refreshing to eat, especially on hot summers day, but if this seems blend to you, then you can change things up a little like adding a little white onion to help give it a crispy taste.
